When sending your submissions, please make sure to use the same email address that you used for your Paypal payment so that we can easily confirm your entry. You will get a notification from us when we confirm your entry status.
If you have paid your reading fee and sent in your submission but not gotten a confirmation within 48 hours, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your story information so that we can make sure your entries have been processed correctly.
Make sure to send in your entries to email@example.com with the subject line 2015 Writing Contest no later than October 31, 2015.
Winners will be notified via email at the end of December and the full list of winners will be published on the website in early January.
If you are a winner and live in the United States, you will be asked to complete a W-9 before any cash prizes can be awarded. You will be paid either via Paypal or by check in March/April 2016. You will also be invited to have your story published in our annual Bardic Tales and Sage Advice Anthology.
No. While we would love to include all winning stories in the anthology, we respect the rights of authors to make those decisions for themselves. Some writers chose to continue working on stories byexpanding them into longer works. Others may decide to submit them to other publications or contests. Also, because some authors chose to publish exclusively with specific retailers, they may not wish for their stories to appear in print elsewhere.
