  • Adventure Havens: Brewers, Distillers, and Vintners

In Brewers, Distillers, and Vintners, we look at twelve ready-to-use crafters of alcoholic beverages that can be added to any fantasy setting. Each listing includes a brief history of the establishment, the type of alcohol it sells, important NPCs, and story seeds for intergrating the location into your current game. This supplement also introduces a new criminal organization, the Bleeding Datura, with a selection of NPC stat blocks to use in random encounters.

Alabaster Lion Distillery: Owned by a retired war hero who still occassionally picks up his sword to assist the local community.

Angry Wight Brews: This formerly haunted tower is now operated by a friendly necromancer that believes undead or people too.

Black Hill Winery: Owned by the beloved Nettlemore family that uses their winery to support the local community.

Crooked Tree Distillers: This low-key distillery serves as a cover for the regional cell for the Bleeding Datura.

Crossbones Distillery Cpmpany: Aunt Mae and Uncle Hank provide sailors with a variety of services, but it is their "medicinal" tonics that attract the most attention.

Dire Hen Ales: What started as a side project to handle excess barley from the farm has turned into a thriving business for the Hale family.

Rainbow Oaks Vineyards: One of the most expansive and well-respected vineyards in the realms, it rivals a small town in terms of population and activity.

Red Zephyr Distillery: Produces of fine liquors so reknown that bottles of it are used as collateral and accepted as payment in some areas.

Short Dragon Brewery: Owned by a the family of a famous dragon slayer.

Stormhammer Brewery: This brewery and trading post is a welcome sight to travelers through the mountains.

Troiga Vineyards: For over a century, the Troiga family has provided nobility across the realms with what is considered the finest wine ever made, and now they have wealth that rivals some small kingdoms.

White Valley Winery: Owned by a pair of retired adventurers with a habit of getting on the wrong side of competitors.

You know what they say about the best-laid plans…

Sometimes, all the planning in the world won't stop your players from completely derailing your plot. For those times when the party decides to linger longer than you anticipated in a small town you hadn't even named, or they decide to take a boat down the coast instead of following the road you already planned, or even when they decide to start talking to every NPC at the tavern, the Adventure Havens series will help you always look prepared.

The Adventure Havens series of gaming supplements provides game masters and storytellers with a collection of ready-made NPCs and associated locations that can be used to flesh out your current campaign setting or simply fill in the gaps when the players decide to go off in an unintended direction. Designed for d20/OGL systems.
